ThE ALmiGHty InTerPlaneTARy ConSciouSneSS EXPLoSION — 'TEN' (album)

ThE ALmiGHty InTerPlaneTARy ConSciouSneSS EXPLoSION is the latest musical project from Steven Colborne. The album, titled 'TEN', contains the very best of Colborne's recordings as a musician, but rather than simply being a best-of album, it is a standalone album with a conceptual nature.

The album is hard to pigeonhole stylistically, though it could be described as electro-metal. It contains four tracks with vocals from Steven, one track featuring guest vocals from Snuffy Walden and five instrumentals. There is a definitive space theme throughout the album, expressed in both the songs and their titles, and the album captures the conflict between the space age and religion in the 21st century in a playful and uplifting way.

'Life Support' conveys the mood of Steven's three day spell in intensive care following a serious suicide attempt, and 'Born Again' expresses his joy of being resurrected back to life and making a full recovery. These songs, however, are part of the larger theme of the album which combines space travel and interplanetary exploration with the Christian religion.

This is an album that you must let do the talking — do not delay in getting your copy today!
